We were lucky enough to get an invitation to see Waddesdon Manor in all its glory on Friday evening and it did not disappoint! 🥰

This year’s theme, A Grand Festive Tour, celebrates traditions from around the world and gives us a peek into a variety of them. The Manor itself was simply stunning. Every room was decorated so beautifully, with so many little details to discover. I wish I’d had more time to explore and to hunt for Poupon’s balls! I spotted four, if anyone manages to find them all, you’re a star. ✨

Outside, the light projections on the Manor were breathtaking. Paired with the music, they created such a magical sense of excitement and wonder. I could have stood there watching them for ages, but the light trail was calling…The trail itself was gorgeous- calm, serene vibe, and beautifully lit. I felt relaxed wandering through it. A few of us attempted the “follow the tune” lights (admittedly I didn’t do more then 3!), which lit up to play what we think was a Christmas song but let’s just say our reaction times were not impressive. Still, we laughed and had fun, so totally worth it.

A special shout-out has to go to the kids’ art display at the Stables. The pieces were so creative and intricate, you could tell how much time and passion had gone into them. Seeing how the different schools’ work came together was really lovely. Don’t miss it if you go. Plus, a huge well done to everyone involved, especially all the amazing school kids.

Finally, a big thank you to everyone who joined on the day and to the wonderful people organising it. Tracy, you were fab helping me sort an unexpected travel hiccup at the last minute. The staff and fellow visitors were all so friendly, which made the whole experience even greater. Such a magical evening all round. 🥰🌟
