Ansible Editions is an unfeasibly small publishing company issuing POD books and ebooks. The first selections, in 2003, were by David I.

From the beginning Ansible Editions has existed to publish new and newly updated or collected out-of-print works by authors who are personal favourites. AE was launched in 2003 by David Langford and Christopher Priest (as Ansible E-ditions), and rebooted in 2012 (without the hyphen) by Langford and Greg Pickersgill. nning with an unpublished novelette followed by reissues of all his story collections. Our next focus was the critical writing of Algis Budrys, and Langford is also issuing AE ebook versions of his own backlist.

Have not been well this week, so no new posts. Lots of books and ebooks in preparation, including an Ian Watson collection whose wonderfully bonkers title and cover photo were supplied by the great man himself, leading me to pick an appropriate font which he has also approved. All Hail Watto!

The Frank Arnold Papers, collecting mostly unpublished nonfiction by that long-time UK fan, was the first Ansible Editions ebook edited by fan historian Rob Hansen. Seven years later we've expanded it by about one-third with newly unearthed essays and SF reviews: the revised ebook is still a free download and there's now a trade paperback (all proceeds to the TransAtlantic Fan Fund).

A current project here, suggested by Greg Pickersgill, is a collection of all the New Worlds author, editor, artist etc profiles that appeared on the inside front (or back) cover during the John Carnell era.
