Get ready to indulge in a delicious bowl of Fiery Creamy Chicken Ramen! This comforting dish packs a punch of flavor and creaminess. 🍜🔥✨
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless chicken thighs or breasts
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sriracha or chili garlic sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sesame oil, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 packs instant ramen noodles, discard seasoning
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or coconut milk
- 1 tbsp peanut butter (optional for creamy texture)
- 1 soft-boiled egg per bowl
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup bean sprouts
- Sesame seeds and chili flakes for garnish
Directions:
Start by whisking together the soy sauce, honey, sriracha, and rice vinegar in a small bowl—set that tangy mixture aside. Now, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Toss in the chicken and cook until it’s beautifully browned and fully cooked through. Once done, remove the chicken and slice it up.
In that same pan, add the remaining sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté them until they release that aromatic fragrance—trust me, it's heavenly! Pour in the chicken broth, bringing it to a comforting simmer. Then, stir in the heavy cream and, if you choose, the peanut butter for that extra creamy texture. Mix until it's all smooth and delightful.
Now, cook the ramen noodles right in that flavorful broth for about 3 minutes, or until tender. Return those sliced chicken pieces into the skillet to soak up all that goodness. When ready to serve, divide the noodles and broth into bowls. Top each bowl with a soft-boiled egg, shredded carrots, green onions, bean sprouts, and sprinkle on sesame seeds and chili flakes for an extra kick.
Dig in and enjoy your warm, spicy, and creamy chicken ramen noodle bowl!
