"The Empress" is the last of a 3-single promotional campaign leading up to (finally!) the digital release of Kevin Dyer's 2002 Debut Album "Time For Conversation". According to KD (introducing the song on his 2004 tour) "It's about oceans and tarot cards and stuff like that ... hippy hippy stuff". As with the previous two singles, there will bonus material dredged from the depths of the InCompany vaults. Release date to be confirmed - Follow/Like to be kept in the loop. PRESS RELEASE: LOCAL PARA ARCHER WINS GOLD FOR GREAT BRITAIN IN INTERNATIONAL DEBUT

Magor's own Helen Courquin (Helen Courquin Archery) has made a spectacular start to her international para archery career, returning from Rome with a Gold medal for Great Britain — and a growing buzz about her potential appearance at the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

Helen, who recently earned her place on the GB Para Archery Squad, competed in the prestigious 2025 European Para Archery Cup last week - her very first international competition. Undeterred by the pressure, she delivered a standout performance, placing 3rd in the qualification rounds.

What followed was nothing short of extraordinary. Partnering with teammate Cameron Radigan (Radigan Archery), Helen secured Gold in the Recurve Open Mixed Team event, showcasing remarkable focus and composure on the European stage.

She narrowly missed out on a second medal, finishing 4th in the Women’s Recurve Open category after a nail-biting Bronze Medal Match against India’s Pooja Jatyan.

These early achievements mark Helen as one to watch, and put the spotlight on Magor as a village proudly supporting one of the rising stars of British para sport.

As Helen continues her journey with the GB squad, hopes are high that she could be representing Great Britain at the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

Turns out that InCompany songwriter and artist Helen Courquin (artist/writer on 2020 InCompany release "Piece Of Ground" and writer/lead vocals on 2023 InCompany release "You'll Be Mine" by Lite Sundae) is also a bit handy with a bow and arrow, having just made the GB Squad for Para Archery.

NEW OLD MUSIC ALERT! Upcoming release on the InCompany label - "Bewitchin' Women" by Kevin Dyer - release date 2nd May 2025 - will be the second in a series of 3 singles leading up to the long anticipated digital release of KD's 2002 debut album "Time For Conversation".

As with the previous single "Hollywood And Vine", there is also a bonus track - this time round we've gone back into the original recording sessions and pulled out an alternate version which, if used, could have taken the album in an entirely different direction!

The InCompany vaults are a wonderful place to have a rumage around in, with material going right back to the mid 1990's! Today's find is a demo of a unreleased song called "Reasons". Our expert archeologists tell us that the song was written sometime around 2006, tried out in a couple of different styles before settling on this acoustic rendition from 2010. Vocals 🎤 by Adam Gold.
