I recently had the pleasure of working with artists Jake Harvey and Helen Douglas to provide photographs of their works for the catalogue accompanying their latest exhibition in North Uist.

'Meeting Point: Within the Lewisian" launches on 19th July. If you happen to be the Outer Hebrides this summer, be sure to check out this fascinating exhibition.

- Hermitage Castle -

Known as the "the guardhouse of the bloodiest valley in Britain". I found this supposedly haunted castle on a fittingly eerie foggy day. The site of numerous murders, treachery and even witchcraft, this hulking grey mass of stone still stands tall despite its colourful history; as foreboding as it ever was in its prime.
