Pickle Appreciation Post
We're in the last month of the Pickle season now before Suzy and the team close for winter on the 2nd November. I LOVE Autumn season on the prom, it's crisp and beautiful. All the colours have that honey glow and it's so much quieter than the summer months. It feels like Cornwall becomes our own again after the holidays are over - meaning you're more likely to get the best tables by the sea 🌊

Suzy's business story takes you on a journey across the globe, singing on cruise ships and training as a barista in Australia before she and her Cornish husband came home to Cornwall to raise their family. Before starting Pickle, Suzy was making chutneys and cakes, supplying cafes and selling at markets - so you might have come across her delicious goods somewhere before...!🧁🍰 We also share her impressive list of local suppliers 💐🍞🥐

I always take photos of Pickle's beautiful set up whenever I visit, so here are some from the 2025 collection. Make sure to pop down before they shut for the winter. They're open 8am-4pm, 6 days a week, closed on Tuesdays and weather permitting. So if the sun is shining, geddon down there for a toastie and a really good coffee ☕️

We're hosting our second Drinks After Work event at ! 🍷 This is a FREE event for independent business owners, managers, freelancers and artists to meet, get to know each other, share ideas and spark collaborations 💥

Our first event at the was great fun, we shared ideas for what we wanted from future events and a group of us then went down to the launch party afterwards. It's a lovely opportunity to meet likeminded grafters! 💪🏼

On Friday 10th Rachel Gunderson will be hosting Drinks After Work for us at the recently refurbished Honey Pot, serving drinks and "substantial snacks". This will be the first of their evening events, and we're super excited to enjoy their beautiful space in the evening. Make sure you check out their upcoming Halloween Murder Mystery Feast Night event! 🕷️🕸️
