What Proves God Became a Man?

1. His Birth Was Supernatural – Born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23).

2. His Words Were Eternal – No author, yet His words endure (Matthew 7:29).

3. His Life Was Sinless – The perfect man (1 Peter 2:22).

4. His Power Over Disease – Healed all who were sick (Matthew 8:16).

5. His Authority Over Nature – Walked on water (Matthew 14:26).

6. His Visit Marked Eternity – His birth and death define the calendar.

7. His Victory Over Death – Abolished death (2 Timothy 1:10).

8. His Legacy Was Goodness – Went about doing good (Acts 10:38).

If God Became a Man...

Would He build great hospitals?
Would He start world-class universities?
Would He run for president?

Perhaps. But He didn’t.

Instead, God became a man… and He preached, He taught, and He healed.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus…”
– Philippians 2:5–11

Jesus didn’t come with reputation or political power. He came as a servant, obedient to the death of the cross. His activities were clear:

“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness…”
– Matthew 9:35

The Wisdom of God and the Power of Preaching

“For the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” – 1 Corinthians 1:25

The Paradox of Divine Power

The cross, a symbol of defeat in human eyes, became the throne of God's victory. A wooden stick raised an axe head from water. A stone crushed a giant. And the preaching of Christ crucified continues to raise dead souls to life.

To the wise, this gospel appears foolish.
To the powerful, it seems weak.
Yet it is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe.

The Rejection and Acceptance Pattern

In preaching the gospel, be ready:

To be rejected by the intellectuals and the influential.

To be embraced by the humble, the broken, and the hungry-hearted.

The wisdom of the world seeks evidence, logic, signs, and systems.
But God chose a crucified Christ as His power and wisdom to confound the world.

I am not forgiven because my sins are overlooked.

I am not made right by trying to repay what I could never redeem.

My forgiveness comes through Jesus who took my place, bore my burden, and shed His blood.

Through His substitution, I am no longer condemned.

Through His reconciliation, I am no longer distant.

I am embraced, accepted, and made whole.

I walk in freedom, not because I earned it, but because He gave it.

This is grace.
This is love.
This is the gospel.
