History comes alive at the Manston International Airshow with a special flying re-enactment of 'The Last Dogfight' from WW2 featuring a Piper L-4H Grasshopper Cub and a replica Fieseler Storch!

Based on a true encounter in the closing days of WW2, this unique display recreates the unlikely aerial duel between two of the war's most distinctive liaison aircraft.

With slow speed flying, tactical manoeuvres and a powerful tribute to the 'Last Dogfight'

One of the most iconic aircraft of WWII will take to the skies at the Manston International Airshow on the 16th & 17th August 2025: The Fairey Swordfish W5856 from Navy Wings

The oldest airworthy Swordfish in the world, W5856 first flew in 1941 and served with the Royal Navy’s Mediterranean Fleet. After a remarkable life spanning war service, Canadian training duty, and near abandonment, she was beautifully restored and now flies in the markings of 820 NAS during the attack on the Bismarck.

A living legend not to be missed.

Also joining us from the hangars of Amicale Alençonnaise des Avions Anciens A3A in France, the Dassault Flamant MD-312 will be flying on the 16th & 17th August 2025 at the Manston International Airshow.

Rarely seen in UK skies, the elegant Flamant was designed just after WWII as a light transport and multi-role aircraft for the French Air Force. This is a rare chance to see a piece of post-war French aviation history displaying over the skies of Manston!

We are sad to announce that the Army Air Corps capability demo will no longer be attending the RAF Cosford Air Show 2025.

They have asked us to release the following statement:

Unfortunately the 1st Aviation Brigade Display of UK Apache E-model and Wildcat is not able to go ahead today. The decision was made because a safety alert was issued late on Friday by Boeing, the manufacturer of Apache.

The safety of the public and our crews at the Cosford airshow is our highest priority. As we investigate the potential fault, we have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily suspend display flying of the Apache-64E. Sadly we were not able to complete the investigation before the airshow this weekend.

We apologise for the disappointment and are sad not to be taking part in this fantastic air display, but trust that you, like us, understand how important it is to maintain everyone’s safety. We will be back displaying soon!

Sadly the team had had to cancel our appearance at RAF Cosford tomorrow.
We are very disappointed but the weather has unfortunately made things rather difficult to get there today and the forecast winds for tomorrow are outside the Aircraft’s limits.
We wish Cosford a great day tomorrow and hope we can make it happen next year.
