Today we pay tribute to Nick Hannam – a true Leeds talent, and one of the pioneers who helped shape UK Jackin', House & Bass.

Nick’s sound was infectious and unmistakable. His early productions were a huge part of the original Certified Jackin channel, inspiring a new wave of producers and DJs up and down the country. He crafted club anthems like "Serious", "Love You Girl" and "I Like To F*ck", with a style that blended pure northern energy with groove-heavy basslines and crisp, catchy vocals. That original "Jackin" sound.

Beyond the underground, Nick's talent broke into the mainstream when he co-produced Tom Zanetti's "You Want Me", a Platinum-selling hit that smashed into the UK Top 40 and brought the sound to millions around the world.

Nick didn’t just make tracks – he made memories. His music soundtracked countless nights out, countless moments, and left a mark on a whole generation of ravers.

From Leeds to the world, Nick Hannam’s legacy will live on in every speaker, every dancefloor and every heart he touched through his music.

Rest easy Nick. You’ll never be forgotten.
