A touch of evening drama on the greens…
And a bit of history too!

is very much woven into the cultural fabric of the area. We were fascinated to learn that:
1. Until 1957, the club was part of the Bedford Estate — one of the largest aristocratic estates in England — before it was bought out by the club members themselves.
2. Those very members who invested in the purchase back in 1957 are still named in the club’s historical archive.
3. The club is built on values of shared community — every important decision is made by a full members’ vote.
