Kinver Coffee Upgrade at Hideaway Edge, Kinver ☕️

Building La Dolce Vita in Kinver.

Off-grid life can be tricky with set up. We had issues with power and generators cutting out, so we have adapted.

We've upgraded to a dual fuel coffee machine.

From Dolce Vita on the seafront of Worthing, to Hideaway Edge, Kinver.

From a seaside cafe..... to the countryside

We didn't plan to buy land.

We saw it for sale Sunday
Viewed it Monday
Bought it Tuesday

On impulse we purchased land. The story then unfolded. From the previous owners vision in the 1980's, to how the land and Hideaway Edge naturally evolved.

Kinver Coffee Upgrade Edge

As lovely as our current coffee machine is, we have been struggling with the generators powering it.

So we have upgraded to a gas powered coffee machine. Not only will our coffee still taste amazing, it will now be more eco friendly as efficient.

The orchard at Hideaway Edge is finally starting to bear fruit. 🍏

For years we have wanted to have a go at making our own cider. But each year when the fruit is just ready to pick.

They all disappear..... 🤔🦌

The fruit trees are a bit taller this year, so if the cuplrit of the missing fruit is the deer, we are hoping the trees might be too tall for them this year??

Kinver Edge on the doorstep of Hideaway Edge.

Just a few minutes away by bike, or a short walk, and the landscape opens up completely.
