Food and River Festival to celebrate 10th year with jam-packed line-up
Melksham’s Food and River Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary later this month with live music, entertainment, river activities, and more than 100 stalls featuring local food and drink, charities and community groups.
The free festival is held in the heart of Melksham at King George V Park and will run on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August.
The festival will be declared open each day by Melksham’s town crier, Ian Pugh. New this year is a stage to showcase the range of live music and entertainment, including One Voice Community Choir, Kris Nock Big Band, Rock Choir, The DeciBelles, vocalist Hannah Glencross, Ian Rayney, Sam Bishop and Ruby Derbyshire.
There will also be a variety of community information stalls, including one offering blood pressure checks and energy advice.
