Sailing out of the Grand Bahamas Shipyard following another successful dry dock on behalf of .

9 projects across 5 venues on board including a new moving head package for the theatre from , a new GrandMA3 from , 2 new PA systems in venues from and and even more lights from .

My thanks to the subcontractors and teams on board who have made it all work seamlessly.

Time to head home now.

A good day on board Queen Victoria yesterday for and in the stunning Queens Room.

Over the course of July and August, I had the pleasure of installing and programming the first .official mixing desk on to .

Working closely with the team and from Carnival UK, the specification and design for the system was signed off a few months before the install which was carried out in service for the first time ever on the fleet.

Including an
- SD Rack with 32 bit input cards
- DMI-Dante 64-96 card
- running RF monitoring
- running redundant playback
- Axient Digital radio system from including full spectrum management through Wireless Workbench
- D800 Dante running the musician monitoring
- new pair of Adam reference monitors for FoH

All prep work for fibre and networking was carried out by EW Production Services LTD before the install

7 production shows for were reprogrammed and remixed in 5 weeks

Countless hours of work take the ship into the future with the latest technology for visiting guest entertainers, casts and creatives for years to come.

Working on another job with the superb and consoles

Last week Chris Traves disembarked P&O Cruises Azura, but not before we had remixed and tech’d the shows ‘Centre Stage’ and ‘On The Horizon’. It was great to work with Chris again on board a ship after a spell of us both working on different projects.

Tonight saw the opening night of ‘Centre Stage’ for the new cast and it was a resounding success.

We’ve just spent 10 days on board P&O Cruises Azura re-installing the shows on board following a desk upgrade.

Joe gets off tomorrow in Valletta, and I continue working to finish the show install process on board.
