Foot-stompin' music and cutthroat-razor comedy three times a year, live from the Grand Ol' Eastgate Theatre in downtown Peebles, Scotland.

From humble beginnings in the Manor Valley in 1896 the Downright Homespun Radio Company has grown to the international phenomenon we know and love today. Its offices in the garage down by the Drill Hall bring thousands of pilgrims annually, vintage recordings of early shows fetch high prices on eBay and queues for its show tickets dwarf even the famous Forsyth's Christmas Eve Turkey queue.

Deadline extended to Friday Sept 6th!

We're looking for another TWO people to join Douglas and Steve for their Live At The Eastgate comedy show on October 3rd.

If you've got enthusiasm and a few jokes up your sleeve, or a couple of stories to tell, we're looking for you! You'll get three rehearsal and mentoring sessions to polish your set, and a 7-minute performance slot on the night.
