So this is from one of my clients who recently had builder gel for her fingernails.

This one is by Akzentz, a high-quality brand from Canada, and this particular builder gel is called Tulle - a gentle cool pink toned gel with tiny little silver sparkles in it. Perfect for when you want a natural-nails-but-better look 💖

Bold?? Me?? Never!!

So these are my own nails.

I've never worn such a bold colour before. In face, I don't think I've ever worn red nail polish before!! But for over a year now, I've been wanting to try a flamenco red. Why? I've honestly no idea! 🤣 But I've now eventually been brave enough to try it!

The photo here shows it as slightly more orange-red than it is in real life. But it is gorgeous 😍

So the moral of the story... never say never... to any nail colour at any rate! You never know, you might find your new favourite nail colour ❤️

Sunshine in a bottle!

This is one of the brand new Akzentz colours of the season, called Freesia and is a sheer colour tint, not an opaque colour, making it very delicate and perfect for summer! And just because I fancied a bit of sparkle, I added Stardust, which is just a light sprinkle of fine holographic glitter, over the top.

For those of us with very (very!) Weak, bendy nails, I did an IBX Strengthening Treatment on my nails first. This is an excellent add-on or stand-alone treatment that strengthens the nails from within. Then, after the IBX Treatment, I used Akzentz Builder Gel before adding the colour. Builder Gel is great for weak, thin nails and also for lifestyles that take a toll on nails , such as keyboard typing; gardening; hands constantly in water; heavy use of sanitiser; outdoor activities etc.

If you find you've had trouble in the past keeping gel polish on your, come to me and together we can find your perfect solution to your nail issues.

Every Woman Deserves a Little

My Mum always encouraged my to look after myself - my hair, my skin, my body. She inspired me to have a new change of career. A few years ago I had a serious back injury and eventually I could no longer work full-time as an office administrator. My Mum has always liked me doing her nails and gave me the idea to train as a nail technician. A few months later and Pampered Pretty was born!
