The latest Princess Cruises ship, Star Princess, will feature in a new E4 series, Cruising Paradise: Above and Below Deck, starting at 9pm next Thursday. The first five episodes of the 10-part series were filmed during the ship's inaugural Caribbean season.

Fincantieri and Carnival Corporation today celebrated 30 years of collaboration by cutting the first steel for Carnival Destiny, the first Ace-class ship for Carnival Cruise Line, due to be delivered in 2029. Two more 8,000-passenger ships will follow in 2031 and 2033.
