Yesterday, I (virtually) sat down with BU students to chat about my Squiggly Career and how a Career path can be unexpected and take you all sorts of places. 🌱

It feels crazy to see how far I’ve come and also have I love creative problem solving. Starting from going into clearing as I got rejected from my dream course to running a freelance business on the side and gaining so much amazing experience 🫶🏻

My main takeaway for the session? Research and Plan your way forward, plan for the expected and plan for if you don’t have a dream job straight away.

Oooo it’s been awhile so let’s catch up! Q1 has been a busy one so let’s dig in…

🌿 I’ve worked with 3 clients so far this year! With 5 as the goal I’m sure I’ll hit this.

🌿 210 Facebook followers. I haven’t been working on this but if you’re not following me already.. please womble over to my page!

🌿 Attend 4 Networking Events. I have attended 1 virtual as hosted by ! And another booked at 😍

🌿 Revamp Website. Not done as of yet but I have planned out the new structure!

In other news:
- Dealt with one month of no internet and faffing 😂
- Moved to a New Flat 🏡
- Started Reading Books more and currently on Sunrise on the Reaping 📕
- Regualr visits to the Beach 🏖️
- I’ve got into Baking more, most recently a Coffee & Walnut! 🧈

Phew! Here’s to a productive Q2 as projects are launching and I’m heading deep into Dissertation work ✏️

2️⃣ Make sure to respond to any Comments and DMs you’ve been putting off - this is good for keeping up connections.

Yes, the algorithm can give you a big push BUT there’s steps you need to take! Such as:

🔔 Targeted Hashtags
🔔 The right kind of Content (Carousels, Reels etc)
🔔 Making your content Accessible
🔔 A good Hook and CTA
