1:10am and the buzzer sounded a single bleep then all of a sudden it ripped into life. Still very much asleep I jumped out almost taking the dog with me and hit a very powerful carp. After a short fight It finally made it to the net safely and without issues. Camera set, light set and weighing 40lb 10oz the photos were taken and it was back for someone else to enjoy.

ISO Fish hookbait on a Ronnie with a prototype hook over ISO Fish boilies was the tactic. 😁

Another one from a great little session last week and another thirty. ISO Fish hookbaits in PVA bags filled with Spod&PVA Pellet Mix the bait. 4inch Raid Braid Hooklink with a size 6 Clinga BP hook making up the rig. 👌

First light wake up call came from this 38lb mirror the other day. After seeing a few shows in a small area I decided to introduce a few pouch fulls of ISO Fish boilies to the spot along with a readytied Ronnie. I was hoping for a morning bite but not that early as trying to put on chest waders still half asleep is comical. 😂😂

The big girls made an appearance this week what with low pressure and scattered showers it looked good. This 41lb 4oz common was the biggest of five in brilliant conditions. prototype hook loaded with a ISO Fish hookbait with matching loose feed did the trick. 👊🏻👊🏻.

They keep jumping in my net. 😂 (I wish) Another thirty pound common saved a strange session last week. Fish showing but no action but soon as the fish stopped showing I get a take. 🤷🏻‍♂️ ISO Fish wafter did the trick again. Life saver. 😁

We had a carp a few years ago with a small deformed mouth so much so we called it ‘The Screamer’ after the painting The Scream by Edvard Munch (yawn). Worried it won’t really eat much due to the size of its mouth it was returned to the lake as one of its characters. Well last week she fell to my ISO Fish hookbait and is doing very well too. Happy days to her or him.👍👌

With the lake full of big thirty pound commons this has to be the best proportionally looking carp I have caught in many years. Perfect condition and looking amazing in the summer sun. trakker_products_official Clinga Hook on a Ronnie loaded with a Mainline Baits Cell Supa Buoyant Pop-Up made it possible. 👌

Nice little scaly one from the weekend. Solid PVA bags again making the difference filled with Mainline Spod &PVA Pellet Mix with a little ISO Fish Barrel hookbait presented on a Trakker Clinga hook. Happy days 😀
