Nobody really prepares you for the in-between stage of life.
Not the big milestones, not the dramatic moments — but the quiet middle part. The part where you’re not where you started, but you’re also not where you thought you’d be by now.
It shows up in small ways.
You wake up tired even though you slept.
You scroll and realise everyone seems to be “ahead” in different ways.
You make plans, then cancel them because you’re mentally full, not physically busy.
Some days you feel proud of how far you’ve come. Other days you question everything — your pace, your choices, even yourself.
It’s not failure. It’s not success either. It’s just life unfolding in real time, without a clear map.
I think a lot of us are quietly living in this middle phase, even if we don’t talk about it much.
Does this season feel familiar to you?
