Image from the scene of a fire on Market street, Halifax earlier this evening. The fire at Viet Baguette looked to involve the cooking range. Fire crews used 1 Hosereel jet and 2 Breathing apparatus with fire crews from Halifax, Rastrick and Illingworth attending along with CLM vehicle.

Domestic Fire - Proved to be property well alight and incident was a MP x 5 and Aerial appliance. Fire crews are reported to have rescued an animal from the home with all other occupants uninjured and out of the house. Crews used 2 Hosereel jets and 6 Breathing apparatus sets to tackle the fire.
Appliances from Halifax, Mytholmroyd, Illingworth, Rastrick and Huddersfield attended along with CLM and Fire investigation

All persons accounted for and no injuries. Fire details to follow..
Family of 6 have lost everything. Twin boy and girl age 12/18 months, boy age 6 and boy age 11 in desperate need of clothes.

Incident on Poplar grove around 01:00 this morning 18/11/2025. The car was 100% alight with firecrews using 1 Hosereel jet and breathing apparatus.
Appliance from Odsal attended.

Alma Street, Haworth.
House Fire - Sadly this has been a fatal house fire involving 1 male casualty found in the property. This is a terraced property near Mytholmes Lane. Fire crews used 2 Hosereel jets, 6 Breathing apparatus, covering jet and Positive pressure ventilation.
Police cordoned off the area and fire investigation officers and police are now trying to establish the cause of the fire.
Appliances from Keighley, Bingley and Illingworth attended along with CLM and Fire investigation

Kirkgate Market Complex, Darley Street, Bradford
Concern for safety - Proved to be a male on the roof of the property, appliances attended to stand by at the scene. The male was talked down from the roof of the building and fire crews were stood down from the incident having not been required. The casualty was conveyed to hospital by ambulance.
Appliances from Bradford and Leeds (Aerial Ladder Platform) attended.

Road Traffic Collision - Proved to be 2 cars involved with 1 casualty not trapped but assisted by fire service crews from the vehicle and handed over to the ambulance crew on scene. The road was temporarily closed but has since been reopened.
Appliances from Odsal and Fairweather Green attended.

Abbey Stone Products, Worth Valley Works, Pitt Street, Keighley
Building Fire - Proved to be fire in a 2 and 3 storey building The building is a three storey structure, 100m x 40m which is approximately 50% involved in fire, with the fire well alight on arrival. Incident became a MP x 8 and 2 Aerial appliances after firstly being a MP x 5. Fire crews used Large jets, Hosereel jets and Breathing apparatus along with an Aerial appliance monitor to deal with the blaze. Crews remain at the scene damping down. Pitt Street remains closed until the fire has been completely extinguished. Fire investigators are also in attendance and will try to establish the cause of the fire.
Appliances from Keighley, Silsden, Shipley, Fairweather Green, Illingworth, Rawdon., Morley, Ilkley, Halifax, Mytholmroyd, Mirfield ( Hose Layer and Support Pump), Featherstone (Command Unit Lite), Skelmanthorpe (Welfare Unit), Bradford (Aerial Ladder Platform) and Huddersfield (Aerial Ladder Platform) which wasn't required at the incident. Fire investigation also attended along with officers and CLM vehicles.
