Incident 15/12/2025 TOC 06:50
Dale Street, Bradford
Dangerous Structure - Proved to be a dangerous structure involving a 5 storey building in the City centre.
Video of the collapse can be seen in the images.
A fire officer attended the incident to evaluate the call and shortly after his arrival the side of the structure collapsed. This was part of a derelict property which has be unoccupied for some years. The collapse has left a gaping hole in the building. Neighbouring properties were evacuated as the building remains in an unstable condition. Fire crews used an Aerial Ladder Platform to enable structural engineers examine from above the parts still standing. Obviously Dale street is all sealed off due to the dangers of further collapse. No persons are thought to be involved in the incident.
Appliances from Bradford ( Pump and Aerial Ladder Platform) attended.

Roberts Dyers and Finishers, Royd Lane, Beechcliffe, Keighley
Building Fire - Proved to be a building approx. 25m x 40m 100% involved in fire with difficult access due to a low 3m high railway bridge . Fire crews had to run out hose from the nearest appliances around 30 lengths away from the fireground.
There were partial collapses of the walls so defensive fire tactics were deployed. Crews used Ground monitors and Large jets to tackle the fire with poor water supplies. The fire lit the night sky and could be seen around the Keighley area.
Appliances from Keighley, Bingley, Shipley, Bradford, Fairweather Green, Odsal, Moortown, Cookridge, Ilkley (Welfare Unit), Spen Valley ( Technical rescue Unit and Support Pump) and Mirfield (Hose Layer and Support pump) CLM vehicles and supporting officers attended.
Crews from Skipton and Harrogate assisted West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service at a large industrial factory fire. They assisted by using hose reel jets to tackle the blaze externally before being released from the incident.

There has been an update regarding the large fire at the Ritz Ballroom in Brighouse on the 6th December.
After fire investigations examined the site this has been recorded as suspected deliberate ignition (Arson). I have a feeling that most people around Brighouse thought the outcome would reveal this.
The site has now been fenced off completely with no access being allowed to the site.
