JUST ADDED:
Lukas Neilson's review and Stacey Auld's photos from the first of two sold out nights for Pierce The Veil, dayseeker and Holding Absence are now all up on musicboxunwinds.co.uk

"Over the last couple of years, Pierce the Veil have returned to full-time status as a band after an extended hiatus. Before 2023’s “The Jaws of Life”, it had been just shy of 7 years since their last studio release, and their live performances also took a considerable pause between 2017 and 2022. This UK tour is their second in recent years that has come up north, but it’s also their biggest yet, bringing their emo-tinged post-hardcore to the Barrowland Ballroom for two massive sold-out nights."

Go check it all out!

Lukas Neilson's review of Knuckle Puck in Glasgow's The Classic Grand on Sunday March 24th 2024 is now available on the site!

"Opening with the tumultuously powerful The Tower, the undeniably massive No Good, and the self-analysing Tune You Out demonstrates their ability to put forward their feelings with their distinctive pop-punk vitality."

Lukas Neilson reviewed Greg Puciato's show in Glasgow on Monday night in the legendary venue, King Tuts Wah Wah Hut!

Here's a snippet:
"Greg Puciato has never been one to do things in half-measures. After a long tenure in The Dillinger Escape Plan, his focus has since been split among a multitude of projects; his electronic outfit The Black Queen, the metal supergroup Killer Be Killed, and more recently the hardcore punk band Better Lovers (featuring several ex-members of Every Time I Die). As if that wasn’t enough, Puciato also found time to release material under his own name, releasing two full-length albums and an EP over the last four years. As Better Lovers get ready to release their first studio album later this year, Greg Puciato takes this space in his schedule to get a solo UK tour under his belt, bringing New York industrial outfit Trace Amount and some local acts along for the ride."

Head on over to musicboxunwinds.co.uk to read the full write up about Greg Puciato and his support acts Trace Amount and Moni Jitchell

Our Story

Music Box Unwinds covered shows from all over the UK as well as America and Canada but after ten years of running the site, we took a hiatus to focus on other things. Been missing it a lot so decided it was about time we brought it back.

MBU will now focus on more than just music, we will be covering Film and Television and highlighting the best on our screens as well as behind the scenes.

Can’t wait to get things going again. Thanks Everyone! Stacey xo
