34 years ago, we missed out on a top 20 with Jet-Star because the first 5000 sleeves had a dodgy barcode. It went up in week 2 (rare for dance tracks), but it was a valuable lesson 🤣 did we care, no, because we were having fun! Happy Weekend everyone!! What a TOTP that would have been with Altern 8 and Shades of Rhythm 😎

Opus will be the definitive collection of our musical history, both past and future. Opus features exclusive edits of the most iconic tracks from our discography. It's a busy chart day today! Believe In Love has climbed to #22 in the Music Week Upfront Dance Chart and Beatport have put XTC @ #9 in their new release breaks chart. In 1990 there was a mash-up that did the rounds and that went on to be bootlegged around the world along with another mashup/remix.......

This mashup was really called "themes2" and it's a no-holes barred breakbeat fest, following on from the 1990 underground smash "themes".

The track has been played in sets by Aphex Twin, ColdCut (Steinski), Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers and Chad Jackson heard it at a DMC DJ regional heat a few months before going into the studio with Steve Mac to create "Hear The Drummer Get Wicked".

We never let on who was behind the original track as it was an exclusive dubplate for live sets (until the bootleg came out).

Fast forward and we found the original DAT tape, remastered it and decided to let it loose (officially this time). It's released on May 12th on all streaming and download platforms, and it's on sale today for Bandcamp Friday. https://dzone.bandcamp.com/album/themes2

We’re asking for the public’s help to find David Redhead, who has not been in contact with friends and family since April 15.

He was reported as missing to us yesterday, 21 April.

David, 57, was last seen on April 15 at about 1.55am wearing dark jeans, trainers, a baseball cap, a red and black fleeced jacket and he was carrying a man bag.

David has links to and in but also , in . He was last known to be in , east London, on 17 April.

David is about 6ft 4ins tall and has short, black hair. He normally wears a baseball cap and trainers.
