MG is Setting the Pace in Affordable EVs

The all-new MGS6 EV launched yesterday and AutoEV was there to see it first. Our full YouTube review drops soon.

MG’s latest model pushes the brand further into the mainstream with a 77 kWh battery, RWD or AWD options and a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating. Three variants keep things simple:
• SE Long Range – RWD, 180 kW, 329-mile WLTP
• Trophy Long Range – same range and power, with upgraded comfort + tech
• Trophy Dual Motor – AWD, 266 kW, 0–62 mph in 5.1s, 301-mile WLTP

Rapid charging from 10–80% in 38 mins, five drive modes, five regen modes (incl. One-Pedal) and MG’s scalable platform all feature. Inside you get a 10.25" driver display + 12.8" infotainment, with Trophy models adding HUD, heated/ventilated seats, pano roof and an 11-speaker system.

The new Citroën C3 Aircross joins the crowded B-SUV market, sharing its ‘Smart Car’ platform with the C3 supermini and offering petrol, hybrid, or full-electric options. The eC3 Aircross gets a 44kWh LFP battery for up to 188 miles of range, or a 54kWh pack with up to 249 miles, with prices from £23,000 to £27,000.
