Really looking forward to a jazz trio concert at this year's Burton Bradstock Festival of Music and Art in Dorset on 12th August. The event features a ‘southern incarnation’ of my jazz trio with the excellent Adam King on bass and Joe Dessauer on drums paying tribute to the late great Oscar Peterson for what would have been his 100th Centenary year. Thanks to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow for hosting New Focus 'The Classical Connection' at their fantastic 'Fridays at One' lunchtime concert series last week.
