Violet Circle Publishing. Independent small publisher VCP, grew from the need of author Robin John Morgan.

Initially named Violet Circle Productions, the small company was set up to help promote the books published of Robin John Morgan Via another small independent publisher. Established in 2008, over the last five years as more and more of the workload promoting RJM was done Via VCP, Robin who owned and ran this company made the decision that it made better financial sense to make the transition from

Promoter to full publisher. In late 2013, Robin informed his then publisher that as the rights holder he wanted to transfer his own works over to VCP, and the transition was complete. This is a small independent company run by Robin with help from his wife Corinne, with the aim of producing and promoting the full Heirs to the Kingdom series of books written by Robin, and the works of a few close friend recommendations for other works. VCP aims to produce high quality Fantasy and Adventure books, from new and interesting authors.

June 2025.
Robin John Morgan's new fatasy begins. The Sword for the Sky series, book one, Oaken of the Winds.

Some wounds never heal, some anger smoulders slowly, and all hatred grows.
Fear brings power, power breeds oppression, and oppression brings out hope.
Standing alone is an act of defiance, standing with others, is an act of rebellion.
To lead with doubt, is better than compliance, to lead with reassurance, is true opposition.
A brothers fight to save his half sister from the evil of a ruler who wants everything.
Becomes the spark that starts the fire of rebellion he will lead to unite everyone.

The wind is coming, and it is not alone.

We are delighted to confirm that the next book from VCP, will be the start of a brand new series from Robin John Morgan.

The book is currently in production, aiming to be released in early to mid Summer 2025, which will land in time for the holiday reading season.

Robin will be returning to the full fantasy genre with his new title, “Oaken of the Winds” which will be the first of a new series, of which there is currently no set number of books, under the series name of “Sword for the Sky.”

We are delighted to see his return to fantasy, as he adds to a growing collection of enchanting and gripping tales, such as Han’s Cottage, The Ravens of Berengar trilogy, and the Heirs to the Kingdom series. He has become a writer of interesting and thought provoking tales of quality over the last twenty years, and we feel this new series will be no different, as he creates a whole new world filled with interesting and diverse races who clash.

We do not want to give too much away at this point, but his new series will focus mainly on three new characters, Night Shade, a wild and aggressive half Undine warrior, who has lived alone in the wilds since she was seven summers old. Nutriana, a sea fairing smuggler from Animatre, who runs contraband into the war ravaged areas of the land, and Oatin, the young son of the last leader of the Andalan, an ancient race of spiritual warriors, who have been the advisors and peace keeps of all the races for many years. Oaken’s father was killed by Balathral’s soldiers, as they swept the lands slaughtering and taking everything for themselves. Oatin, who managed to escape with his mother into hiding, is finally an adult, and is informed he is to take his fathers place, as wielder of a legendary sword, said to control the power of the four winds.

The story will follow Oatin, as he renamed Oaken of the four winds, and his group, as he sets off on a journey to try and save his young half Undine sister, Yandalla. Having being taken by soldiers, Yandalla is being transported to the lands of the Summanu to be ritually sacrificed. Oaken has to open his eyes, as he realises very quickly, his life of study around the four winds, has taught him nothing of life, other races and their belief, and also the evil brutality of how life has evolved on his war torn continent.

His journey will start this summer, as he encounters the new lands of hot deserts, green pastures, and a two spirit race who embrace the spirit of animals in their deep homeland jungle.

More updates will be posted closer to the time, so watch this space.

Of The Raven’s of Berengar (Trilogy)

Step back into the dark ages, before Avalon was constructed, and the Fae roamed the earth beside man. Written to be placed alongside his epic fantasy series Heirs to the Kingdom, the trilogy “Of the Ravens of Berengar” follows the story of two fae, who get caught in the political infighting and power grabs of the two of the leaders of the face race. Alone and in love, Ariel and Branna find themselves torn apart, as Ariel is dragged back to her realm, and Branna flees to the safety as the realm of man. Alone in a world she does not understand, accompanied by a raven which contains a dark power, she survives using her fae powers and seeks out a sanctuary, where she can settle, and then be reunited with Ariel.

Controlled by the bird as she struggles to break free, she unites with the Saxon warrior and makes a dark pact that will ensure her survival and eventually her downfall.

A powerful set of stories that chart how the darkness corrupts over three separate stories all linked by Ariel and Branna. Rise of the Raven and the Countess of Darkness overlap the beginnings of the Kingdom series, but can be read as stand alone stories. Wonderfully crafted stories, which show the finest skills of the author, as he takes all of the readers through a twisting series of events that leave you breathless as you enter the final book of Violet Stone. A very addictive series of betrayal, love, dark traits and powerful domination.

Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now by Colin Smith.

This is a hilarious stage play comedy. Written in play format, it is still a wonderful and rib tickling read. Based on the premise of a marriage lasts for eternity, and poses the question of what happens if we die, and have been married three times? Tough choices have to be made, the road to making them is paved with problems and absolutely brilliant comedic writing. Absolutely worth the read if you want to laugh out loud.

The Curio’s Series.

The Curio Chronicles is the life story of Abigail Jennifer Watson and her small group of friends. Her tale begins when she runs away from home, to study in Manchester, four hundred miles away from her controlling, conservative, rural village living parents. Chaos strikes when her year ends, and she has to head home for the summer, a terrifying prospect, because she has changed a great deal. The prim and proper blonde haired Abigail is no more, she is a gothic loving, dark and deadly aspiring writer, with a deep love of vampires and all things death related, in other words, she is everything her parents absolutely hate.

The Curio Chronicle’s follow her journey home, with her best friend from Uni, a training sexual psychologist, who is also a wiccan naturist, and the freest spirit in the universe, much to the distaste of the residents of Wooton Dursley, a village where how it looks on the outside, is far more important on the inside. Follow Abby and her friends, as they live the wild teenage life, as they chart their journey into adulthood, facing opposition all the way. A modern, funny, irreverent, spicy at times, and tongue in cheek look at the life of the young as they clash with the old, and explore who they are, and where they fit into everything life has to throw at them growing into adulthood. A wonderful and well crafted series of addictive books, set in a rural and principled English village.
