Last night’s ‘A Feast Over Fire’ hosted by the wonderful team.

Sloe gin fizz on arrival, hot-smoked chalk stream trout, wild venison tacos, pheasant ravioli, whole roasted partridge, a zesty lemon posset and home-made marshmallow to finish. 🔥

A secret location in a Firle barn with the shadows of the South Downs as a backdrop lit by last night’s Super Moon 🌙

Every detail had been thought about, from tea lights in the bushes guiding guests along the country track to the barn, hot water bottles on our table seats, an abundance of blankets and of course the deliciously curated 6 course menu, with locally sourced ingredients, all cooked on open fire.

Super evening that definitely got us all in the festive mood. ✨

Stella and Gryff will be hosting two more fire feasts before Christmas on the 13th and 20th December. More info on the Woodfire Camping grid. Highly recommend. 💫

Congratulations to listed at No. 22 in annual list of the 50 best boutique hotels in the UK.

The hotel’s restaurant was also awarded its tenth consecutive Michelin Star this year and the hotel two Michelin Keys.

Once the home of Victorian garden writer, William Robinson, the gardens (that featured recently on Gardener’s World) have been restored to their former glory over the past ten years by Head Gardener, Tom Coward. It is home to the only surviving elliptical walled garden in the UK.

It’s a rather special place, and I PR for. 💫 🌺

In just over a week’s time, I’ll be heading off to Africa on an adventure challenge with WOLO foundation, driving 3000km across Namibia and Botswana, wild camping 💛

I think my Amazon delivery today of a shewee and a sequinned headband is a scary reminder that maybe I need to give this some more thought and invest more time in my preparation before I go! 😳🤯 🐍

I ran Brighton Marathon yesterday! 🏃‍♀️

I hand on heart never thought I could ever run such a distance, but I did!

Putting in the right training with support from incredible friends and family who always believed I could do it was what got me through all the training and the actual day itself.

Fundraising for has been a huge part of that too. Wolo means a lot to me and a huge amount to other people too, as they are currently supporting over 200 families across Sussex affected by cancer.

and thank you for everything you do. You really are the unsung heroes in all of this and the community you have built since the charity launched five years ago is INCREDIBLE💫 💛

I’ve made all three of my girls promise that if they ever wanted to run a marathon, not to leave it until they’re nearly 50 to do their first. In the end my mindset was strong, but the body (hips, knees) hurt a lot.

The memory of all three of my girls running the final 100m with me over the finish line will be something I will bottle up in my memory bank forever. (Video of this is in the carousel above) 😭 😍

I will forever be grateful to my gorgeous friends and family who appeared at the right time along the course to cheer me on and even run some of it with me. It meant the world to me. THANK YOU 🙏

And now I’m lying in bed, wondering how on earth I’m going to get out of it, but every ache and pain was 💯 worth it. 🫶 ☀️
