It was another great switch on event. Thank you for having us!

To everyone who braved the rain Saturday evening to join us for our village light switch on a HUGE THANK YOU! The rain did not appear to dampen spirits and the village was full of festive cheer!
The committee would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all our volunteers whom we would not able to run these events without! THANK YOU to Ella Hudson Vocalist and Simon from Xtra Player UK for keeping us entertained all night!
Thank you to Father Christmas and the grinch for joining us. THANKs to all our stall holders and those who donated to our Raffle!
Thank you also to the pupils of Thomas Eaton that entered our poster competition and helped Santa to switch the lights on!

⭐ The Girl In The Bubble — Ariana Grande

This week we’re spotlighting Ariana Grande’s powerful new ballad The Girl In The Bubble, from the soundtrack of the brand-new movie Wicked: For Good, out now in cinemas!

Here’s a bit more about it:

The song is original to the film, written by musical legend Stephen Schwartz, who also composed the original Wicked stage show.

Ariana performs it as Glinda, and the track captures a turning point for her character — she’s reflecting on the “beautiful life” she’s built, and whether she can continue hiding behind illusions.

It’s one of two brand-new songs written for Wicked: For Good (the other is “No Place Like Home,” sung by Cynthia Erivo).

The soundtrack album drops with the film, so fans can stream the full version now.
