I’m excited to introduce Echo Pine Music, my new venture dedicated to helping Indie-Folk & Americana artists create stunning records.

With over 15 years of experience as a producer, including building from the ground up and collaborating on more than 1,500 songs with over 200 artists, I’ve gained invaluable insights along the way.

My work has received over 10 million streams on Spotify, as well as airplay on the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and many others.

At Echo Pine Music, my focus is on providing a personalised & collaborative approach to production - offering artists everything they need to take their songs from initial concept to final master.

There’s always an underlying anxiety when sending off initial mixes to a client.

When someone trusts you with their music they have a vision, and you just hope that what you’ve done aligns with that vision.

Receiving unsolicited feedback like this from clients always brings a big smile to my face, and helps reassure me that I must be doing something right!

The new ‘Dirt Farmer’ EP that I co-produced, engineered & mixed for is out today on Bandcamp. Available on all the usual streaming sites from Monday.

FFO Americana/dark country/indie-folk.

The EP tells a story throughout so I encourage you to give it a listen as a whole!

The new single ‘Living in sound’ is out now on Bandcamp. It’s a lovely slice of Americana-tinged folk-pop featuring James Chapman on drums, Dave Coomber on bass, Mishkin Fitzgerald on piano/keys and BV’s, and Simon Yapp on violin and BV’s. And of course Ian himself on 12 string acoustic guitar and lead vocals.
