If Sony allowed third-party controllers to perform like the standard DualSense on the PS5, this controller would be the best option for PS5. Unfortunately, the standard DualSense and the DualSense Edge outperform it. However, if this controller could match the Revolution X’s performance on the Xbox Series X, even at 250Hz, I would choose it over the edge’s 1000hz just for ergonomics . In my PC tests, measuring stick outputs per second and other metrics, this controller has shown impressive responsiveness. I hope we can get a better performance on the PS5 eventually, as that would make this controller the top choice for a lot of people.

For PC, I personally think there are better options. This puts the controller in a strange position, being made for both PC and PS5 but not excelling in either. On both platforms, there are better alternatives. Hopefully, Nacon will release an Xbox version with a higher polling rate. Even at 250Hz, the ergonomics, output, and customizability make this one of the top-performing pro controllers.
