What would you have done with this ceiling?

My preference was to cut out the existing ceiling, remove the lath & plaster

Plasterboard & skim

At 11ft working height, they are rarely easy jobs

The customer opted to have the ceiling re skimmed to save on budget (which I completely understand)

Who knows, it may even still be there in 15+ years time or maybe it won’t and I’ll be back 😁
