I’ve been busying away with lots of projects I can’t share just yet 🤫 BUT I remembered I wanted to share more of these gorgeous pics Emily did for me a few months ago! Good question! When I’m sewing the endbands, I use these little flags to mark the centre point of all the sections. I then anchor the endband by sewing down through the book, every few sections. 😊

YES! Thank you for noticing that 🤝 I selected the endband threads to match the marbled endpapers and leather 👌 I loved how this colour palette turned out!
These spiralling marbled endpapers were inspired by the swirling smoke from Sherlock’s iconic pipe, in colours inspired by a dark, murky and mysterious Victorian London, by the river Thames…

Today is the day 🥹 I’ll be dropping 30 new designs in my shop! (See insta stories for details and set the countdown timer 🔔) Each notebook is handbound in an original marbled paper, so each book is totally one of a kind ✨ Many designs will only have a handful in that exact pattern/colourway, so when they’re gone they’re gone!!
This batch is particularly bold and bright! I hope you’re into it as much as I am 🌈 and OF COURSE…. each notebook can be purchased with free personalisation foil-blocked in gold ✨

Over the Easter hols I’ve been doing loads of drawing with the kids with my SPECIAL PENS! 😱
I LOVE the anti-AI versions of this current “you as a doll” / “starter pack” trend I’ve seen by amazing (proper) illustrators, so thought I’d have a go at drawing my own for fun! …It’s been ages since I tried to draw something, but I enjoyed the process (tiny legs and didn’t even attempt the hands 😆).

Q: Can you name all the bookbinding accessories I’ve tried to draw here?!!

I’m really into these Acrylic pens kind of like Posca (but better 🤫 with the a fine/brush tip and amazing metallic colours) They draw on literally everything.. glass, plastic, black paper, furniture… 💭 I’m thinking of transforming a little antique kids chair in a floral folk-arty kind of style with them next!
