🎬 Another great shoot with our friends at Business yesterday - filming a masterclass for at Brunswick House in Vauxhall, London.

Check out a few screenshots from the day below.

A proper afternoon of good whiskey, good chat and a cracking setting - Brunswick House has bags of character and was a dream to film in.

We stuck to our usual setup - the Canon R5C (RF 15-35mm) on the DJI RS4 Pro gimbal, and the C70 (RF 24-70mm + 70-200mm) - with a bit of diffusion and that 21:9 format we’ve been loving lately.

Always great working with the Spirits Business team - thanks for having us along and of course to Leiper’s Fork Distillery for the warm welcome, great to work with you for the first time!

Back in NYC for Endless Aisle Live 2025 🎬🇺🇸

Last week we worked again with our long-term friends and collaborators at , this time for Endless Aisle Live in New York, hosted by New Store.

The day kicked off with the conference, diving into omnichannel strategy, AI in retail, and what’s next for physical stores. Then onto the Soho store tour circuit (thanks to Ian Smith for hosting the one we joined) before wrapping up with dinner and plenty of good conversation.

Huge thanks to Commerce Futures for bringing us along once again, we really appreciate it and to the NewStore/Endless Aisle team for the warm welcome, we had a great time!

Also a big shout out to for assisting on the B-roll and interviews throughout the day.

Gear breakdown:
* Canon C70 ×2 (RF 15-35mm & 24-105mm)
* Sony A7S III + 24-70mm G Master for B-roll
* Canon R6 Mark II with RF 24-70mm & RF 70-200mm for stills

We were back in Cannes earlier this week with The Spirits Business, capturing their travel-retail beach party along the Croisette. 🎥🍸🥃🇫🇷

Compact & powerful setup:
• Canon R5C + 15–35mm + Moment CineBloom filter on RS4 Pro
• Canon C70 + 24–70mm with the same filter, handheld / monopod
• Osmo Action 5 Pro for bartender POVs

A highlight was meeting (Vampire Diaries, Lost, Rules of Attraction) again - we last crossed paths in Düsseldorf at ProWein. This time we filmed him demonstrating his cocktail-making skills and talking about his whiskey, Brothers Bond - always a pleasure capturing his passion for the craft.

We also had the chance to try some brilliant cocktails crafted with , , , , , and .

Cannes is such an iconic place for the film industry - so it felt right to capture it in ultra-wide 21x9. The perfect backdrop, we both loved every second. Also check out the screenshots - looking very bloomy thanks to those CineBloom filters.

And a special thanks to our mate Ryan from for swapping roles and filming and as we tried our hand at making a cocktail.

Back in Amsterdam with and Orange Marketing Masters - they flew us out for a brilliant day shooting aboard the iconic Stan Huygens.

Worked alongside on a full multicam setup - three C70s for the mains, an R5C grabbing B-roll, plus an R6 for a fourth podcast angle. Lenses in play: RF 24-70, 15-35, 24-105 and a 16mm prime.

Couldn’t have pulled it off without some smart packing - everything (cameras, lenses, audio, gimbal, lighting) squeezed into one large checked case, a carry-on and a small under-seat bag. Just about enough space left for my socks…

Standout bits of kit were the Sirui C150X (tiny, travel-friendly powerhouse - used it with a 40cm softbox as fill against those big rainy canal-side windows) and the SmallRig friction arms & super clamps. Without them, no chance of rigging such a big setup solo abroad without paying through the nose for excess baggage.

And yes - I did spend a fair bit of time hanging out the top of the boat in the rain with the R5C on the DJI RS4 Pro gimbal. Worth it for the shots.

Big thanks again to Pure Boats for hosting us on the Stan Huygens and to Orange Marketing Masters for bringing me along. Cold, wet, but such a fun shoot.

This week we were back at Causeway’s HQ in Gerrards Cross - always a pleasure being asked back by to film with the team!

We covered three episodes of the Deconstructing Digital podcast plus a case study interview with Kris Westerby from Northumberland County Council (who also opened the day as the first podcast guest).

Camera setups
• Podcast: three Canon C70s - 15-35mm for the wide, 70-200mm and 24-70mm for the two tights
• Case study: two more C70s with the Sigma Art 50mm + 85mm for a more cinematic interview look

Lighting setups
• Two 50cm lanterns behind talent, each powered by a Sirui 300B at 100%, acting as the key/back edge
• One big 85cm lantern up front on an Amaran 300C at 30% - just a low-wattage lift to balance shadows without killing the contrast
• Negative fill either side (and on one side of the case study) to keep the ratio under control
• And the happy accident - when we moved into the case study, we left the smaller lanterns in place instead of swapping to a 150cm softbox. Once we set the angle, the look straight out of camera was spot on - simple but effective.

Three podcasts + one case study in a single day - efficient, consistent, and a lot of fun to shoot.

We’ve been back filming with , a charity creating accessible online learning resources for people with Down syndrome. They rely entirely on funding to keep producing free educational content, and this new Healthy Eating series is a great example of the impact they’re making.

Across two days in the kitchen at Oaklands School in Walderslade, we filmed step-by-step recipe walkthroughs and essential cooking skills to help learners cook safely and confidently. Everything was shot in 8K on the Canon R5C for reframing, with the R6 Mark II on the overhead camera and two C70s capturing close-up detail shots.

A big thank you to Jo, Laura and Hannah from Learn and Thrive, as well as all the volunteers on the day, everyone did brilliantly.

Had a very enjoyable recreational afternoon hanging out with taking some photos of racing at Brands Hatch!

Here’s a few photos from what was captured on the R6mkii with the RF 70-200 f/4. Quite difficult capturing photos through and around the fence but was good fun all anyway!

Just back from a cracking few days filming with the legends at Orange Marketing Masters and in Amsterdam.🇳🇱🎥🎬

Huge thanks to and Matt for the incredible hospitality - and for asking us to film on the boats as we cruised the canals. 🚤🍻

Managed to sneak in a little stop for lunch in Bruges too, and clocked up a fair few miles driving across France, Belgium and the Netherlands to get there.

We shot a podcast right on the boat using a 3-C70 setup (2 of them rigged on SmallRig friction arms - worked a treat, surprisingly sturdy even on water).

The R5C came along for the ride getting b-roll - including some very low shots just above the waterline… slightly too close at times 😂
Matt from Orange had a look of pure terror watching me do it (insurance companies, look away now).
