I've been helping an older student develop his fluidity and relaxation/control, as it's holding him back.

This lesson centres on the pop punk track 'Indecisive' out of Rockschool grade 2, specifically the ending line.

I basically use down, tap and different free strokes to create a flowing motion and sound (as we all do), and show people how to develop this beat layer by layer, keeping each technique together as it becomes more involved.

It's a decent explanation I guess!
