Since taking office in July 2024 under Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the Labour government has faced growing criticism from many voters. Recent polls suggest declining approval ratings, with concerns raised over the economy, NHS waiting times, immigration, housing, and the rising cost of living.

Labour also suffered setbacks in several local elections during 2025 and 2026. Critics argue the government has failed to deliver on key promises, while supporters say reforms and investments need time to produce results.

While some have called this one of the most unpopular governments in recent years, there is no independent evidence confirming it as the "most hated" government in British history. Previous governments have also faced major public dissatisfaction during times of economic hardship and national crises.

Muslim woman says: “This UK heat is overwhelming for me 🥵. I feel public places should provide more shade, free water, and cooling centres to help people manage extreme temperatures safely.

Fact: Muslim people are making increasing demands day by day. One woman is wearing a black niqab in this summer and asking the government to provide support. What's your view on this?👇

A Pakistani-born asylum seeker was recently jailed for ra**ng an 18-year old in a park. Even after being caught, he was found to harbour a “strong sense of grievance and resentment” towards the woman.
In another case, an Iraqi national and an Iranian asylum seeker were recently convicted of grooming and trafficking underage girls. The asylum seeker is now on the run after being granted bail.
Britain’s illegal migration crisis presents a constant danger to women and girls. These men come from cultures with alien and derogatory attitudes towards women.

She complains that there are too many dogs in the park. Maybe she's forgetting that this is Britain, where dogs are a big part of everyday life. If someone wants a completely dog-free park, they may need to look for a park with those specific rules instead.

🚨🇬🇧 Reports say Vickrum Digwa was attacked in prison with a mixture of boiling water and sugar.

The substance is often referred to as "prison na**lm" because the sugar causes the hot liquid to cling to the skin, increasing the severity of burns.

Digwa reportedly suffered serious burns to his face during the attack.

Although the injuries are said to be severe, reports indicate they are not believed to be life-threatening.

The incident occurred shortly after he was jailed for the killing of Henry Nowak.

🇬🇧Across the UK, more shops, cafés, car parks, and services are moving toward card-only payments.

But for millions of people, cash is still an important part of everyday life.

For pensioners, many low-income households, rural communities, and those who don't rely on smartphones or online banking, cash can help people budget, stay independent, and pay for essentials without needing apps, batteries, or an internet connection.

Supporters of card-only payments argue that digital systems are faster, safer, and more convenient.

Others worry that moving away from cash too quickly could leave many people feeling excluded from everyday life.

This isn't about being against technology — it's about whether everyone should still have the choice to pay with cash.

What do you think?

Should cash always remain a payment option in Britain?

❤️ YES — cash should stay
👍 NO — card-only is the future
