Do your kids get along? My 3 girls are all SO different and bicker CONSTANTLY. It’s exhausting! But they had a sisters sleepover and it was lovely and I’m filled with hope that one day they’ll stop fighting.

Summer holidays as a working mum can be tricksy! I get up early and cram a few hours in before they’re up and at it. (Grateful that they’re at an age to sleep in a bit!) and then we try to get out and about. If you’re a working mum how do you manage?

The tenacity and sheer dogged determination in getting all my paperwork filed in France is paying off. Today I received my Sécurité Sociale number! Woo Hoo! And I went into a medical appointment and paid 1/3 less! Yay!

My finger is also straightening up nicely, I’ve gone from 35 degrees to 9 degrees in 7 weeks and whilst it’s stiff as a board from zero activity, it’s way less swollen and a lot straighter! Yeehah!

Gosh all the "firsts" you have to go through with your firstborn. I've just sent my eldest on her first solo train journey to meet a friend visiting France from Singapore. I reckon by the time my youngest is the same age she'll have done it already!

A trip home is always filled with nostalgia. The shortcuts I used to run back from the pub when I was late for my curfew, the jetty where I used to go crabbing with friends in the summer holidays, the familiar spots on the beach where we used to picnic and play. Ah... nowhere is quite like home!

London has my heart. Always has, always will. So many memories made spanning four decades (gulp) and my 3 kids were born here.

London in the summer just vibrates with a life-giving energy that fills my soul.

Cat p*e in my trainers after a bad nights sleep coz of a really loud party in the village was not on today's bingo card. It's gross and I'm cross and yes I am wearing them because despite all the shoes I own I only have one pair of trainers...
