York, it's been amazing!
We only had a couple of spare hours on Saturday evening and Sunday, late afternoon and evening to cram as many as we realistically could, without majorly rushing around.
We managed 15 pubs !!

Saturday's in York are not for the faint hearted.
It's busy.
Like ... really, really busy!
Sunday was much easier to navigate around and if the Food & Drink festival hadn't been on, I'd imagine it would be even quieter.

All in, we've had a great time and found pubs we've not visited before.
The Phoenix, Micklegate Social, Falcon and The Little Ale House are all new to us and definitely come recommended, as do all the pubs we've visited this weekend.

York is a great, historical place and we're already looking forward to returning in the future! 😁

Postern Gate - York
We're here as everything else seems shut at 11pm of a Sunday, so it's a swift pint before retiring to our accommodation. 👍

Valhalla York
Very much a rock, goth pub.
Quality ales, plenty to view within the pub.
Another absolute recommendation

House of the Trembling Madness - York
It's incredibly unique.
The photos speak for themselves.
My photos are generally crap.
So however good the photos are, it's 100% better than my photos.
Top place, great beers, so much we've stayed for two rounds.
Definitely come here when visiting York, you won't be disappointed.
Disclaimer, if you are disappointed, you're lying.

The Three Legged Mare - York
A Black Sheep Brewery pub, owned by Saltaire brewery.
All the Black Sheep goodies on the bar, plus a Saltaire Citra, which I went for.
Another pub with a lot of Lilley's C***r offerings
Top place, knowledgeable, friendly person on the bar.
Recommended 👍

Eagle & Child - York
A Leeds brewery pub
Nice place, all the usual Leeds brewery drinks and more.
A couple of Lilley's C***r offerings which is great for the other half.
Definitely recommended. 👍

The Little Ale House - York
I'm led to believe this is a relatively new place.
Slap bang next door to the original House of Trembling Madness pub.
Great place, plenty of unusual ales on both Cask and keg.

We've been here loads and the other one, today will be no exception.
Simply a great ale house and the still have the limited edition Lemon Schofferhofer on, which very much pleases Mrs Pub Adventurer.
