Fireworks 🎆 are loud, pretty and fill the skies with sparkling lights. What’s not to like about that? There are people who dread fireworks nights, but this is about the cost for animals - the animal suffering, injuries and deaths caused by human fun.

Below are stories of just a few of the many animals who died and were maimed as a result of fireworks - literally scared to death. Many won’t read them because they think they are ‘depressing’, but it is the reality of fireworks. The Netherlands has voted to ban consumer fireworks and other countries have taken or are also taking this step. Let’s hope the UK follows- see and sign petition at the end of this post. It doesn’t take away fireworks, but will go some way to reducing the damage caused by them.

This isn’t fair and people don’t always realise the damage they cause when they do this to businesses and the people that work there.

Running a business is hard and this week has done me in, I work on Morningstar 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days of the year..yes even when im on holiday. I write the posts, check in with Sian, pay bills. No matter where I am or what I am doing...every day of the year.

Social media is a wonderful thing some days and a curse the next.
Its no wonder so many are choosing to get off this planet so much earlier than they should be.

This week has brought me a 1 star review with no context from a fake profile created 30 minutes before the 1 star review in the middle of the night. Now I will always take a low review that I need to do better, change things and improve. However fake profiles and personal attacks are not fair and reflects on everyone who works in the studio.

A picture of a sign on the studio door with a spelling error. Instead of opening the door and pointing it out to me, I discovered it posted all over an illiterate facebook group.

An elderly gent shouting in the street at me about my 'disgusting' business. I am sure in his youth tattooing was seen that way, however that is no longer the case.

Lastly I post some art work and incur laughing faces. The staff dont deserve to have their hard work laughed at, not when there is so much mediocre art out there... if you dont like something please just keep scrolling, as you will forget you ever reacted on it, I however never will.

In a world that is already exhausting, I find myself even more exhausted this sunday morning as I have been awake all night stressing and over thinking every issue this week.

I may come across 'gobby' at times and over confident but really I am super sensitive, I dont take negativity well.. it means I failed and I have to do better and work harder, each issue is a personal attack.

I wish you all the best of Sundays, mine will be spent with my phone turned off while I regain my headspace so that I can continue to give you all the best of us.

Those of you that have supported us unwaveringly from day 1 you guys are the ones I continue to do this for and you will never know how much it means to us.

Much love
Kerry
