Such a magical day in the sea today! Sparkly blue everywhere and the sea was so clear.
Even the little lizard 🦎 looked blue.

December has begun with blue skies and sparkly sea!

Just me and a cormorant at the water's edge this morning. I did see some other tow floats bobbing about a bit later though, so I know I am not the only one who was seeking a chill thrill today.

I have been trying out my new Easybreath scuba mask that I purchased from Decathlon UK where I got some very helpful advice about fitting.

The seaweed is blooming in Dorset so you will see lots of it about at the moment and it can make the water appear a little murky at times. The bloom is a completely natural process and is nothing to be concerned about.

It is a real treat to look under the surface to the sea, and I experienced the same excitement about using my new mask as I did when I had a snorkel and mask given to me as a child.

I am now looking for recommendations of places to use my new mask. Let me know if you have any please.
