💚👻 GROWLERZ PARANORMAL TOOLS — BIG UPDATE! 👻💚
It’s been absolutely non-stop behind the scenes at GrowlerZ, so I thought it was time to let everyone know what’s been happening — and what’s coming next!
🎉 TODAY MARKS 1 YEAR OF THE GROWLERZ iOVILUS!
What started as an idea to create a serious paranormal investigation app has grown massively over the last 12 months. We now have investigators and paranormal teams using iOvilus on both Android and iOS, and the feedback, testing and support we’ve received has been incredible.
📱 BIG iOVILUS CHANGES ARE COMING
I’ve been working on some important improvements based directly on real-world investigation testing.
YES / NO MODE is being redesigned to work continuously. It will automatically establish a baseline when you enter the mode and look for genuine positive or negative deviations from that baseline to determine YES or NO. No constant random responses — if the data doesn’t cross the required threshold, nothing happens.
🎵 MUSIC BOX is also moving to continuous operation. The timer is being removed, with improved triggering, cooldown and automatic re-arming. I’m also working on the iOS audio side so that it behaves consistently with Android.
🔬 The focus across iOvilus continues to be the actual sensor data. I don't want features firing simply because a timer has expired or because the app needs to make something happen. If the sensors don't detect the required change, the app should stay quiet.
📊 SOMETHING NEW IS ALSO IN DEVELOPMENT...
I’m exploring a separate GrowlerZ application dedicated purely to displaying and recording the raw sensor data. No interpretation — just giving investigators a clear view of what the device is actually detecting.
🛠️ THE GROWLERZ SENSOR HUB
Development of our dedicated external Sensor Hub is continuing too. The aim is to give iOvilus access to significantly more environmental data than a phone alone can provide, while allowing readings and events to become part of an investigation record. We’re currently working through the hardware specification and prototype stage to make sure the finished device is right.
🤝 FIELD TESTING & PARTNERSHIPS
GrowlerZ is now working with paranormal teams and testing partners who are putting our software through real investigations and giving us the kind of feedback you simply cannot get sitting behind a computer.
And there’s plenty more happening behind the scenes that I’m not revealing just yet. 😉
🏚️ GROWLERZ INVESTIGATIONS
We’re also expanding what we're doing outside the software. We have investigations coming up, and our huge Shepton Mallet Prison overnight investigation on 4th September 2027 is now planned — eight hours inside one of Britain's most historic prisons. 👻
