An Ocean Sunset

I stand on the balcony
Breathing the salty air.
I watch the sun dip lower into the ocean
Spreading a stream of light over the shimmering waves.

Colors run throughout the sky
Hues of reds, oranges, and blues.
A piece or nature’s artwork lays
Right before my eyes.

These colors filled with magic
Spread above the ocean.
Streaks of red and yellow
Make a breathtaking scene.

The sun will soon disappear amongst the waves
And the colors will fade into night.
The day will slowly drift away,
But your memory will never die.

“Fluffy Clouds of Arizona”

The open road rolls out in gold,
Through sunlit sands and tales untold,
Each mile a whisper, wild and free,
Beneath the vast infinity.

The mountains fade, the mesas glow,
Soft cotton clouds drift high and slow,
They paint the sky with tender hue,
A moving canvas, endless blue.

My spirit soars where eagles fly,
With desert wind and open sky,
In every turn, my heart unfurls,
Arizona’s magic fills my world.

A massive highlight from our Road Trip, being around these absolutely enormous trees takes your breath away! It’s another bucket list adventure ticked off for me!
It was the planning of this epic road trip that sparked my interest in becoming an Independent Travel Agent, I loved every minute of the journey including the planning. Now I plan trips for others too, it’s the best business I’ve ever been involved with, it’s so exciting!
