RRR Meet ’n’ Ride – Thursday

Thursday nights are back in their stride and with the weather turning good again, it’s the perfect evening to get out on the bikes.

We’ll be meeting at The Wilmslow Tavern (SK9 2HA) at 6:30pm, with the ride starting at 7:30pm. From there we’ll head out for a ride and finish the evening with food as usual.

As always, everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time joining us, just turn up, say hello, and enjoy a proper Thursday night ride with good people.

See you all later.

Tonight marks our first Thursday meet of the year, and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back.

Details:
📍 The Wilmslow Tavern At Summerfields
⏰ at 6:30pm

Due to the colder conditions, a decision on whether to ride out will be made on the night, based on safety. If it’s not suitable to ride, we’ll remain at the venue and keep the evening social.

If you haven’t attended one of our meets before, this is an ideal opportunity to come along, meet new people, and get a feel for the group. We pride ourselves on being welcoming and inclusive.

Bikes or cars, new or existing members, everyone is welcome.

We hope to see you later this evening.

Some days will stay with you forever.
Today was one of those days.

What started as a call for riders to stand together became something truly overwhelming. A sea of bikes stretched out in every direction, as far as the eye could see. We genuinely reckon a couple of thousand bikes rolled out today to give young Jamie Atherton the send-off he deserved.

Row after row after row. A rolling wall of respect, love, and solidarity that words will never quite do justice 🖤🏍️

Every rev, every nod of a helmet, every silent mile spoke the same message: you were loved. The roads were lined, the air was heavy, and yet there was something incredibly powerful in it all. A community moving as one, carrying Jamie on his final ride.

To every rider who came.
To every group who shared it.
To those who stood roadside in the cold.

Thank you. You turned grief into unity, and sorrow into something unforgettable.

Rest easy, little man.
You rode with the biggest convoy of all 🖤

Manchester and North West Biker Community – Please Read and Share

Two days before Christmas, we will be coming together to es**rt Jamie Atherton, a beautiful 8-year-old boy, on his final journey.

Jamie was obsessed with bikes. They fascinated him, brought him joy, and meant the world to him. Because of that love, his family are asking for one final thing for him… a biker es**rt, to ride with him on his last ride.

This is not about engines or numbers.
This is about dignity, respect, and showing a grieving family that they are not alone.

Tuesday 23rd December

• 10:00am meet at The Wilmslow Tavern At Summerfields SK9 2HA
• 10:30am ride to Biker Gear Superstore, Warrington, where we will meet other bikers and groups

After leaving Biker Gear Superstore, we will head to the family home:

• Meet by 12:00 at 5 Alexandra Street, Warrington, WA1 3SE
• Leaving shortly after for St Barnabas Church, Lovely Lane, WA5 1TY
• Then es**rting Jamie on to Walton Crematorium, Chester Road, Higher Walton, WA4 6TB

All bikes are welcome.
All riders are welcome.
Please ride respectfully.

No family should ever have to say goodbye to a child, especially so close to Christmas. If you can attend, your presence alone will mean more than words can express. If you can’t attend, please share this so it reaches as many bikers as possible.

The family have also set up a GoFundMe to help with funeral costs and are just short of their target. Christmas is already an incredibly difficult time, so if anyone is able to donate, even a small amount, it would be deeply appreciated.

As bikers, we talk about community, brotherhood, and standing together. This is one of those moments where that truly matters.

Thank you in advance to everyone who can attend, support, or share.

Much love
Dan
