Manchester and North West Biker Community – Please Read and Share
Two days before Christmas, we will be coming together to es**rt Jamie Atherton, a beautiful 8-year-old boy, on his final journey.
Jamie was obsessed with bikes. They fascinated him, brought him joy, and meant the world to him. Because of that love, his family are asking for one final thing for him… a biker es**rt, to ride with him on his last ride.
This is not about engines or numbers.
This is about dignity, respect, and showing a grieving family that they are not alone.
Tuesday 23rd December
• 10:00am meet at The Wilmslow Tavern At Summerfields SK9 2HA
• 10:30am ride to Biker Gear Superstore, Warrington, where we will meet other bikers and groups
After leaving Biker Gear Superstore, we will head to the family home:
• Meet by 12:00 at 5 Alexandra Street, Warrington, WA1 3SE
• Leaving shortly after for St Barnabas Church, Lovely Lane, WA5 1TY
• Then es**rting Jamie on to Walton Crematorium, Chester Road, Higher Walton, WA4 6TB
All bikes are welcome.
All riders are welcome.
Please ride respectfully.
No family should ever have to say goodbye to a child, especially so close to Christmas. If you can attend, your presence alone will mean more than words can express. If you can’t attend, please share this so it reaches as many bikers as possible.
The family have also set up a GoFundMe to help with funeral costs and are just short of their target. Christmas is already an incredibly difficult time, so if anyone is able to donate, even a small amount, it would be deeply appreciated.

As bikers, we talk about community, brotherhood, and standing together. This is one of those moments where that truly matters.
Thank you in advance to everyone who can attend, support, or share.
Much love
Dan
