We gave the "wash'n'go" at The Pet People Colchester a go recently.

This is the dog who was turned away by multiple groomers because she was difficult to manage.
But by taking things gently, slowly, and step by step with some amazing patience from & Mabel & Friends Day Retreat , look at her now!

We had a bit of a gap in our normal grooming sessions, so felt it was important we kept the work going.

We took our own shampoo, and plenty of treats, gave Koda a lovely wash down and followed it up with a good blow dry - Koda then got to pick her treat from the shelves afterwards as a reward.
Once we'd finished we also used the tub clean setting to make sure it was ready for the next dog visitor!

Koda takes a little bit longer to adjust to things, she needs different reassurance, but once she gets there she's fabulous!!

Another moment of calm, and Koda allowing us to brush her.
She gets very knotted around her collar, but she laid calmly and let me work through some of the problem areas.
We didn't push it too far, and after every bigger pull she got a high value treat (venison cubes)
We're making slow progress, but it's still progress!
