09:00 Souvenir Events Director Jez Damsell tells listeners about Electric Summer – an event to put sunshine into our hearts as we approach the shortest day of the year! Jez’s passion is 80’s music and he talks about his musical heroes and a unique event to be held on 30th August in Vivary Park Taunton.
09.30 Turning Point is a leading social enterprise, designing and delivering health and social care services in the fields of substance use, mental health, learning disability, autism, acquired brain injury, sexual health, homelessness, healthy lifestyles, and employment. Building on 60 years of experience, they have expertise in providing innovative, integrated support in a range of places including people’s homes, workplaces, communities, and specialist settings. Working with Somerset Council there is to be an Open Day at The Kings Arms Community Hub, Wellington on 16 December from midday. It's free and open to everyone. There will be Christmas activities, teas and coffees and today Geoffrey Buffham tells 10Radio listeners more.

10.30 Tony McHale is a prolific writer, director and producer for television. He was one of the original script writers for the long running soap opera “Eastenders” and has thousands of screen credits to his name for series such as “Silent Witness”, “Casualty”, “Trial and Retribution”, “Holby City”, “Dalziel and Pascoe” and many more. Andrew got to talk to him whilst on his cruise about life as a creative writer and the work he did with some of the passengers on the ship producing a radio play which will be featuring on 10Radio.
