Today we were back at Abberton Rural Training (ART) to kick-start a new series of radio skills training with their adult SEND group.
The learners told us they would like to focus on learning music presentation; making jingles and promos; and building confidence in speaking, so we have tailored this course accordingly.
Both Colne Radio and ART are funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and by working together we are having a much greater impact on those who most need support.

Our 2026 Brightlingsea Winter Fest 'Finding Your Voice' course completed on Saturday! 🎉
Thank you to all who took part in it, and for the hard work of our experienced Colne Radio Trainers who bring a wealth of broadcasting, podcasting and 'on air' experience to support this The National Lottery Community Funded project.
An outcome from the training will be a local interest community podcast so please watch this space!
