Steve from Surrey Event Professionals and I talk about how and why he set up a networking group, Surrey Event Professionals, for all those working in the events industry.

On top of that he's also been organising the Guildford Beer Festival and he now also help run the Business in Surrey Expo's.
Busy man!

We talked about how The West End garage has been a family business since it started in 1969.
Since 2010 they also added the Kia dealership to it.

We talk electric cars and the gamble that was setting up their rental department.

On the show this week, we have Paul from West End Garage Kia as your next Voice of Business 🙌

West End Garage is family run business established in 1969 by Donald Dunne, the garage has evolved and grown considerably since the days as a gas station!
Not only is it now a KIA dealership, that also does rental, they also offer MOT and service options in ALL makes and models as well as a Smart repair team to fix those dents and dings!

I look forward to getting to chatting to Paul tomorrow and find out more about the industry and the business.

We talked about how and why she decided to set up a tutoring business instead of staying in mainstream education.
We also talk about the challenges that currently faces, why tutoring has become so popular and the questions parents should be asking when finding a tutor.

Tonight on the show, as your next Voice of Business, we have Claire from Power Up Tuition.🙌

Claire is a face-to-face maths tutor working with students from Year 3 to Year 11 and in a rapidly growing industry, that is unregulated, it's important to know how to make safe choices.

I look forward to talking to Claire later and finding out more about how and why she set up her business.

What a lovely show last night 😍
Jess from KJ Theatre Arts was such a great guest! 🤩

We talked about how she and her business partner started the business with a "let's get till Christmas" plan.
That was 2011 and more than 10 years later it's become a thriving dance and performance art school in Yateley.

We also talk about why dance and performing is such a life skill and starting as young as 2.5 years old can really be beneficial.

And of course we talk about Jess' love for musical theatre and how she's back treading the boards herself too!

At KJ Theatre they run dance and theatre classes for students as young as 2.5 years old.

I'm looking forward to talking to Jess about how KJ Theatre got started, why they feel dance and performance is so important and no doubt her own love of all things theatre will be talked about too!
