After some time to reflect, I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has contributed towards my fundraising.

Three marathons, a fundraising event, and months of support later Iโ€™m over the moon to say we raised a total of ยฃ3,223 for Wolverhampton Wanderers Foundation

This journey has helped me grow as a person, in confidence, in belief, and in ways I never imagined. It pushed me to do things I never thought Iโ€™d do, and it gave me the courage to share my story openly.

It also allowed me to raise awareness for the incredible work the Wolves Foundation do right on our doorstep here in Wolverhampton supporting people who are struggling, offering hope, and changing lives every single day.

If by sharing my story, even one person realises that there is another way and with the right choices, the right support, and a bit of belief, you can change your life, then every mile has been worth it.

Thank you.

Andy

Thanks to the Wolverhampton Wanderers Foundation for giving me the platform to share my story.

My hope is that in doing this, I continue to grow as a person and if it inspires even just one person to make a change, no matter how big or small that improves their life, then itโ€™s all been worth it.

I hope I can show that anything is possible if youโ€™re willing to put in the hard work.

It doesnโ€™t have to be marathons. It can be anything. Running is just something I found that helped me.

I hate doing a "flat lay" as they call it but I thought I best do one.

We might not have had the best of season, but as our city motto says, out of darkness cometh light so let's look forward. I know that as Iโ€™ve had my own dark days, and Iโ€™ve fought hard to reach the better days Iโ€™m living now.

Tomorrow, when I take on the TCS London Marathon , Iโ€™ll be proud to wear this very special Wolverhampton Wanderers Foundation shirt. Im prepared to get some abuse from the sidelines but Iโ€™m running for my city and for the projects that help people find their own light when life gets tough.

If youโ€™re able to donate, it truly makes a difference. Every pound helps the Foundation keep changing lives across Wolverhampton.

Donation link below โ€” thank you for backing me.

Firstly good luck to everyone running London marathon tomorrow but especially close friends and people I have got to know over the last 10 years. We get to do this.

Number collected, food sorted and now it's time to put my feet up in the hotel. Finally a moment to breathe before the big day tomorrow.

Itโ€™s a strange mix of nerves and excitement and now that's done Iโ€™ve already started reflecting on the last 10 years.

TCS London Marathon has never been finishing times or chasing splits, this has always been about using my personal journey to grow, to heal, and to raise awareness and funds for the incredible work the Wolves Foundation do around mental health. I have definitely grown as a person.

Ten years ago, I was in a very different place. Running gave me a way forward when life felt heavy. It helped me rebuild, find purpose, and turn some of my hardest moments into strength.

If sharing that journey helps just one person then every mile has been worth it.

Tomorrow isnโ€™t just a marathon.

Itโ€™s a reminder of how far Iโ€™ve come, and how far we can all go when we get the right support.

If youโ€™d like to support my London Marathon run for the Wolverhampton Wanderers Foundation my sponsorship link is below. Every bit of support means the world.

Great to join one of the Head 4 Health sessions at Molineux in the leadโ€‘up to the London Marathon.

Amazing to share my story, but even more powerful listening to the guys share theirs.

These sessions mean so much to so many. They give people a safe space to open up, be honest, and feel supported.

Proud to be part of it.

Projects like this, and many more exist because of community support. Every pound genuinely makes a difference.
