💔 **DEPRESSION SAID, “GIVE UP.” FAITH ANSWERED, “LOOK AT THE CROSS.”**

A man mocked him:

“Give up! If your God cared, He would have healed you already.”

But the believer looked towards the cross and answered:

“No. The God who did not spare His own Son for my salvation has not abandoned me. I believe He can heal me; until healing comes, His grace will sustain me. My eternal hope is secure in Christ.”

Five truths to remember:

1. The cross proves the depth of God’s love.
2. Suffering does not mean God has abandoned you.
3. God remains able to heal and restore.
4. His grace can sustain you while you wait.
5. Eternal life in Christ remains your unshakable hope.

💔 **THEY CALLED IT A WASTE—JESUS CALLED IT BEAUTIFUL WORSHIP**

Mary of Bethany poured extremely expensive perfume on Jesus’ feet and wiped them with her hair. While Judas complained about the cost, Jesus defended her devotion.

Five lessons from Mary’s actions:

1. **True worship can be costly**—Mary offered something precious.
2. **Humility honours Jesus**—she willingly knelt at His feet.
3. **Love gives its best**—not merely what remains.
4. **Sincere devotion may be misunderstood**—others called her sacrifice wasteful.
5. **Her action pointed towards Jesus’ burial**—she honoured Him before the cross.

The fragrance filled the house, but the testimony of her worship continues to fill the world.

**Interactive question:** What valuable thing—your time, talent, resources or obedience—are you willing to offer Jesus?

👇 Comment **“MY BEST”** if you want to give Christ your best.

Lord Almighty, when the world plots against me and the altar of sacrifice rises before me, I remember You are the Lion of Judah—my Defender and Deliverer. When chains of fear and betrayal surround me, Your light pierces the deep waters. You rescue me from the jaws of destruction and crown me with victory. My faith stands unshaken, for You answer in the midst of danger. Let every scheme against me turn into a testimony of Your power. I am not the victim—I am the vessel of Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. 🦁✨

⚠️ **WHERE DID RIGHTEOUS SOULS GO AFTER DEATH?**

Before the cross, Jesus described Lazarus being carried to **Abraham’s side**, where he received comfort.

After Christ’s victory, the New Testament speaks of believers being **with Christ**—but still awaiting the future resurrection of their bodies.

Five important truths:

1. Death is not the end of a believer’s story.
2. The righteous are safe in God’s care.
3. Jesus opened the way to eternal life.
4. Believers who die are described as being with Christ.
5. Our final hope is bodily resurrection when Jesus returns.

The Bible does not give us a complete geographical map of the afterlife, and Christians interpret some details differently.

🔥 **THE PRISON OF THE FALLEN STARS**

In **1 Enoch 21**, Enoch sees seven stars resembling burning mountains, bound in a terrifying abyss. Uriel explains that this place is a prison for rebellious angels awaiting judgment.

**Important clarification:** This vision comes from the **Book of Enoch—not biblical Scripture in most Christian traditions**. However, 1 Enoch is included in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo biblical canon. [Read 1 Enoch 21/)

Five lessons we can consider:

1. Rebellion has consequences.
2. No spiritual power is beyond God’s authority.
3. Hidden wrongdoing will eventually face judgment.
4. Delayed judgment does not mean forgotten judgment.
5. God’s sovereignty extends over the visible and invisible realms.

**Interactive question:** Do you think Jude 6—about angels kept in chains for judgment—reflects the same ancient tradition?

👇 Comment **YES** or **NO** and explain your answer.
