Day 10 – SeaWorld & Cruise Excitement! 🐧🚢
The excitement levels went up another notch this morning…
In just two weeks’ time we’ll be embarking on our very first Disney Cruise! 🚢🙌🏻
To make it even more real, we also had confirmation that all of our online boarding documents had been accepted. One less thing to think about and another step closer to setting sail!
With that excitement to start the day, we headed off to today’s park…
SeaWorld Orlando! 🌊
One of the first things we did was buy one of SeaWorld’s unlimited refill drinks bottle. As it’s valid all season, it’s brilliant value if you’re visiting more than once. On days when the Florida heat is relentless, having unlimited refills of ice-cold drinks is definitely worth it! 🥤
Today’s rides 🎢
🐧 Penguin Trek
This was a really special moment today because Ezra decided to brave Penguin Trek. He was so nervous before getting on, and we weren’t quite sure whether he’d go through with it. But he did… and we’re so proud of him! Watching him face something that scared him and come off with a huge smile made it one of the highlights of the day. ❤️
The best part comes when you get off the ride and walk into the Antarctica section, where you can see the real penguins. After spending the day in the Florida sunshine, walking into that building was a bit of a shock… it was absolutely freezing! 🥶 It really does feel like you’ve stepped into Antarctica, and seeing the penguins up close makes it well worth the chilly temperatures.
🐙 Kraken
🦋 Manta
It’s always nice having a mix of family rides and bigger roller coasters, and SeaWorld has some fantastic ones.
As we’ve got a couple of SeaWorld days planned this trip, we decided not to try and squeeze everything into one visit. Instead, we had a much more relaxed day, taking our time and knowing we can come back to tick off everything we missed. Sometimes it’s far more enjoyable than trying to rush from ride to ride.
When dinner arrived, there was only one place we wanted to go…
Panda Express! 🥡
It’s become a firm favourite of ours over the years, and it’s a place we always look forward to visiting whenever we’re in Florida.
For me, you just can’t beat the Orange Chicken—it’s an absolute must every time! 😋 But the steak is also incredibly tasty, so if you’re struggling to choose, I’d definitely recommend giving that a try too. If you’ve never been to Panda Express before, it’s well worth a visit for a quick, tasty meal while you’re out exploring the parks.
With another brilliant park day behind us and the Disney Cruise edging ever closer, the excitement is definitely starting to build.
Florida… you’re continuing to spoil us! ☀️😊
