So, here's a thing that sounded like a good idea on paper but a terrible invention in practice.

Only on Sophie on Saturday can you listen to me using a Teasmade as a punchline into an Olivia Rodrigo song called "Bad Idea". It wasn't like an arm that extends out from the side of your bed with a fresh cup of tea, no, it's the faffy thing of actually having to set it up beforehand with teabags in the cup and the alarm clock set to 6:00am, then waiting for the mini percolator to heat up. All of this work just for a cup of tea by your bedside, goodness me, I'm tired already!

Join me tomorrow from 1pm-4pm for some mood lightening, toe tapping fantastic music by Phil Collins, Chic, The Saturdays, Falco and Blondie!
