Stretching a total of 87 miles, The Ridgeway is a national trail and is commonly known as Britain’s oldest road, having been travelled on for over 5000 years!

Starting in Wiltshire, The Ridgeway follows along chalk hills northeast from Avebury, through North Wessex Downs National Landscapes, and to the northwest of London.

Embark on a self-guided walk this May and expect to see wide open views of rolling downland, surrounding archaeological monuments and forts as well as one of Wiltshire’s famous White Horses at Hackpen Hill! https://bit.ly/41q2MC4
